LED Anti-Collision Centerline Strobe
The Talon Aerospace Anti-Collision Centerline/Fuselage Strobe light is designed to replace various incandescent based centerline lights installed on various Boeing, Airbus and McDonnell/Douglas aircraft. During retrofit the operator will purchase an install kit, which includes an adaptor and harness assembly. On airframes that have accessibility provisions inside the interior the upper centerline light allows removal from inside the cabin. The harness and adaptor will last the lifetime of the airframe. The unit can be installed in upper and lower position and the unit is compatible with various airframe types. Talon LED centerline lights reduce an average of 7.5 lbs of weight per anti-collision light/power supply combination. After 30,000 hours in service operator can replace LED light boards and is not required to replace the complete unit, reducing cost of ownership.
Talon has planned various Embraer, Bombardier and corporate fleet types for additional to the STC approvals in 2018.
FAA STC held under STC 03574AT.
Foreign approvals held: EASA and TC
